bismillah

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo AAaduwwee waAAaduwwakum awliyaa tulqoona ilayhim bi(a)lmawaddati waqad kafaroo bima jaakum mina alhaqqi yukhrijoona a(l)rrasoola waiyyakum an tuminoo bi(A)llahi rabbikum in kuntum kharajtum jihadan fee sabeelee wa(i)btighaa mardatee tusirroona ilayhim bi(a)lmawaddati waana aAAlamu bima akhfaytum wama aAAlantum waman yafAAalhu minkum faqad dalla sawaa a(l)ssabeel(i)

O’ you who believe! Do not make friends with those who are My-SWT enemies and yours showing affection towards them, while of a surety they deny what has come to you of the truth, and have driven forth the Messenger-SW and yourselves because you believe in Allah-SWT, your Rabb-SWT , if you have come forth to strive in My-SWT cause, and to seek My-SWT goodwill. You show them affection in secret, while I-SWT know very well what you conceal and what you disclose. And whosoever of you does this; he has surely strayed from the straight path.

(60:1)

In yathqafookum yakoonoo lakam aAAdaan wayabsutoo ilaykum aydiyahum waalsinatahum bi(al)ssooi wawaddoo law takfuroon(a)

Should they come upon you, they will be your enemies and will stretch out their hands against you and also their tongues with evil, and would like that you should disbelieve.

(60:2)

Lan tanfaAAakum arhamukum wala awladukum yawma alqiyamati yafsilu baynakum wa(A)llahu bima taAAmaloona baser(un)

Neither your kindred nor your children will profit you on the Day of Judgement. He-SWT will decide between you; and Allaah-SWT is the Beholder of what you do.

(60:3)

Qad kanat lakum oswatun hasanatun fee ibraheema wa(a)llatheena maAAahu ith qaloo liqawmihim inna buraao minkum wamimma taAAbudoona min dooni Allahi kafarna bikum wabada baynana wabaynakumu alAAadawatu wa(a)lbaghdao abadan hatta tuminoo bi(A)llahi wahdahu illa qawla ibraheema liabeehi laastaghfiranna laka wama amliku laka mina Allahi min shayin rabbana AAalayka tawakkalna wailayka anabna wailayka almaseer(u)

Surely an excellent pattern has been for you in Ibrahim-AS  and those with him, when they said to their people: Verily we are quit of you and what you worship beside Allah-SWT, and we renounce you; and there has appeared between us and you hostility and hatred for ever until you believe in Allaah-SWT alone, except the saying of Ibrahim-AS  to his father: Surely I shall seek forgiveness for you, and surely I have no power for you with Allaah-SWT at all. Our Rabb-SWT ! In You-SWT we put our trust and to You-SWT we turn, and to You-SWT is our journeying.

(60:4)

Rabbana la tajAAalna fitnatan lillatheena kafaroo wa(i)ghfir lana rabbana innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeem(u)

Our Rabb-SWT ! Make us not a trial for those who disbelieve, and forgive us our Rabb-SWT . Verily You-SWT are Mighty, the Wise.

(60:5)

Laqad kana lakum feehim oswatun hasanatun liman kana yarjoo Allaha wa(a)lyawma alakhira waman yatawalla fainna Allaha huwa alghanniyyu alhameed(u)

Assuredly there has been an excellent pattern for you in them-for him who hopes for Allaah-SWT and the Last Day. And whosoever turns away, then verily Allaah-SWT ! He-SWT is the Self-sufficient, the Laudable.

(60:6)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

O’ believers! The infidels are yours and My-SWT foes. They are My-SWT enemies because of hostility to My-SWT Prophet and the Din and your foes because of Islam. You must never establish close friendship with them. How can you possibly befriend those who have refuted the true and pure faith that you are blessed with? They are the very people who exiled the Holy Prophet-SW and you, as you believed in Allah-SWT the Rabb-SWT of the worlds. Moreover, you are at war against them, and have already put your lives on the line in order to please Allah-SWT . How can you, at this point, hope for their friendship or expect good from them? Granting that Allaah-SWT Knows all your overt and covert matters, the one who secretly attempts to fraternize with them would go astray. It has been discussed earlier that to keep a working relationship or to deal with infidels in courteous manner would be permissible provided Islam or Muslims do not suffer in the bargain. But to make Muslims submit to non believers or to thrust upon them infidel systems is blatant digression from the right path.

Always remember that if the non believers ever subjugate you, they would prove the meanest and the most unmerciful tyrants. They would massacre, torture, humiliate and pressurize you to renounce Islam and revert to disbelief. If you are trying to befriend them hoping that they would spare your family and property, beware of the Day when Allah-SWT would judge all matters. And He-SWT is Aware of all that you do.

You have the finest example of Prophet Ibrahim-AS and his people to draw lessons from, who declared to their nation: We-SWT renounce you, your false gods, and your ideology and systems. This day gives birth to an eternal rivalry between the two of us. A rivalry that would change to brotherhood only once you believe in the Unity of Allah-SWT . Our faith would be unwavering.  The Prophet had some hope that his father might embrace faith, so he undertook to pray for him. Whether or not Allah-SWT granted it was beyond his control. Then all reverted to their Rabb-SWT and pleaded: 'We depend on You-SWT and revert to You-SWT believing that everyone shall be brought to You-SWT one day. We have renounced the infidels, so spare us of their subjugation and any trial, and forgive us, for You-SWT are Predominant, Wise.’

So O’ believers! Such an attitude befits you and all those who believe in Allah-SWT and Akhirah. And beware that if any Muslim befriends the non believers in a manner that is damaging to Islam or Muslims, then Allah-SWT is Independent and Praiseworthy and has no need of such people.
