Do not make friends with those who are My-SWT enemies and yours showing affection towards them, while of a surety they deny what has come to you of the truth, and have driven forth the Messenger-SW and yourselves because you believe in Allah-SWT, your Rabb-SWT , if you have come forth to strive in My-SWT cause, and to seek My-SWT goodwill. You show them affection in secret, while I-SWT know very well what you conceal and what you disclose. And whosoever of you does this; he has surely strayed from the straight path. (60:1) |
In yathqafookum yakoonoo lakam aAAdaan wayabsutoo ilaykum aydiyahum waalsinatahum bi(al)ssooi wawaddoo law takfuroon(a) Should they come upon you, they will be your enemies and will stretch out their hands against you and also their tongues with evil, and would like that you should disbelieve. (60:2) |
Lan tanfaAAakum arhamukum wala awladukum yawma alqiyamati yafsilu baynakum wa(A)llahu bima taAAmaloona baser(un) Neither your kindred nor your children will profit you on the Day of Judgement. He-SWT will decide between you; and Allaah-SWT is the Beholder of what you do. (60:3) |
قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ إِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَاء مِنكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاء أَبَدًا حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ إِلَّا قَوْلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ لَأَسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ Qad kanat lakum oswatun hasanatun fee ibraheema wa(a)llatheena maAAahu ith qaloo liqawmihim inna buraao minkum wamimma taAAbudoona min dooni Allahi kafarna bikum wabada baynana wabaynakumu alAAadawatu wa(a)lbaghdao abadan hatta tuminoo bi(A)llahi wahdahu illa qawla ibraheema liabeehi laastaghfiranna laka wama amliku laka mina Allahi min shayin rabbana AAalayka tawakkalna wailayka anabna wailayka almaseer(u) Surely an excellent pattern has been for you in Ibrahim-AS and those with him, when they said to their people: Verily we are quit of you and what you worship beside Allah-SWT, and we renounce you; and there has appeared between us and you hostility and hatred for ever until you believe in Allaah-SWT alone, except the saying of Ibrahim-AS to his father: Surely I shall seek forgiveness for you, and surely I have no power for you with Allaah-SWT at all. Our Rabb-SWT ! In You-SWT we put our trust and to You-SWT we turn, and to You-SWT is our journeying. (60:4) |
Rabbana la tajAAalna fitnatan lillatheena kafaroo wa(i)ghfir lana rabbana innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeem(u) Our Rabb-SWT ! Make us not a trial for those who disbelieve, and forgive us our Rabb-SWT . Verily You-SWT are Mighty, the Wise. (60:5) |
Laqad kana lakum feehim oswatun hasanatun liman kana yarjoo Allaha wa(a)lyawma alakhira waman yatawalla fainna Allaha huwa alghanniyyu alhameed(u) Assuredly there has been an excellent pattern for you in them-for him who hopes for Allaah-SWT and the Last Day. And whosoever turns away, then verily Allaah-SWT ! He-SWT is the Self-sufficient, the Laudable. (60:6) |
